It has been a month since my last blog post …. in that time I have been wrangling with a nasty divorce, moving home and eating chocolate like it is going out of fashion.

Now all that is over I am back to give my views on the happenings in the rural countryside of the UK.

All sorts has happened in the UK countryside during this time … the dafodils and crocuses are trying to come up at our farm … and the Americans say global warming is a myth hurrumph. The Environment Agency are to build a load of new wind farms (need to blog about my thoughts on that issue soon) … and British beaurocracy continues to go stark raving bonkers with this latest snippet on health and safety from a hospital quite near to our farm country ladies to stop baking sponge cakes for charity …. it’s days like this that remind me why I began blogging in the first place!!

So watch this space for continuing news about life in the English countryside and my thoughts on the insanity that is our government.
